Good Top Tip Tuesday to you all.
I'm afraid I start this morning's post with some sad news.....
I'm afraid I start this morning's post with some sad news.....
Hi all – Leanne
here, owner of TTT. Sadly the time has come for me to leave TTT – it has been
THE most amazing experience setting this challenge blog up and watching it grow
week by week. My design team are FABULOUS and so supportive of one another that
it is very sad to be leaving. Happily, Carol and Samantha are taking the job
over as co-owners between them and I know with YOUR support, this challenge blog
can only go bigger and better. So….its over to you girls now
xxxxxx
However, fear not - TTT is not going anywhere! Samantha, myself and the TTT Girlies will continue to provide you with as much inspiration and as many Top Tips as we possibly can and I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Leanne the best in whatever venture she chooses to embark upon next - We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will miss you xxx

of our Independence Day/ Stars & Stripes challenge.
We don't have a tutorial for you this week but each of the Team have provided you with one of their very own Top Tips.
...and talking of the TTT DT Team...
...with Leanne's departure we went on the scout for some more TTT Talent to delight you with!
Please give a huge TTT welcome to our wonderful
New Teamies...
Lisa S and Jennifer
They are the most amazing girls and are we are so pleased they agreed to join us - please pop over to their blogs and show them how loving the TTT family is :)

Top Tip: If you are not going to re-ink those small ink-pads when they dry up, don't throw them away, but use them with distress inks instead of the blending foam pads.

Top Tip : A little dot of white gel pen in black eyes can give a character a completely different facial expression.

Top Tip: Make a fun, jokey card for a member of your family - use current topics or something that they often relate to. The 22yr old recipient of this card often gets a ribbing from us for admiring JB's progress into fame so much ;)
Aren't I cruel ;)

Top Tip: When making masculine cards you don't always need an image, a sentiment can work well on its own.
Top Tip: - Earthy textures are popular for masculine cards. Create tree bark by painting crackle over a wood embossed texture and then scrape away bits with X-ACTO knife.
Samantha
Top Tip 1: Printing a part of your digital image onto designer paper gives a totally unique designer paper.
Top Tip 2: Distressing your papers before sewing can help highlight the sewing more.
Lisa S.
Top Tip: Sprightly Sprocket Dies used as masks add a masculine touch to my tag and create depth to my background. Use your dies in creative ways!
Note: Carefully lift the dies after applying color (I used a color wash).
Jennifer
Top Tip: Sometimes small buttons have holes that are just too tiny to try to get even the thinnest of twine through. Pull out your handy dandy white gel pen and draw a few well placed lines between the button holes. It looks just like twine! :)
What fantastic cards for the Men and awesome Top Tips too!
Don't forget to share your Top Tips with us - you could be our next winner and get a fantastic prize :)
